Dordle

Inspired by Wordle, Dordle is a harder version of the worldwide favorite word games. The challenge now gets doubled, as you have to solve two hidden five-letter words simultaneously using the same set of guesses and the familiar color-coded feedback. Will you master the greater challenges? Play now and solve them using as few attempts as you can.

Dordle Gameplay: Objectives and Rules Explained

The game features 2 grids side by side, each containing its secret word. Your goal is to guess both within 7 guesses. If you can't solve them in time, you fail the mission, and the hidden words are revealed.

As you make your guesses, the word appears on both grids at once, yet each grid evaluates the guess independently and gives you its own color-coded feedback. You have to use them both to refine your next guesses and get closer to the secret words … at the same time.

Dorlde Core Rules:

  • Every guess must be a valid five-letter English word.
  • Every word you enter is submitted to both puzzles simultaneously.
  • The color-coded feedback (green, yellow, and gray) remains the same as in Wordle.
  • You only win the game if both hidden words are correctly guessed within the seven tries.

How to Solve the Dordle Puzzle Challenge

Start with a random 5-letter guess

Type any valid 5-letter word onto both grids at once. Press Enter to submit and receive color feedback for both separately. It’s recommended to start with words rich in vowels, such as "audio," "adieu," "aurei," etc.

Interpret color feedback and refine your guesses

Colors show which letters are correct or misplaced.

  • Green: correct letter in correct spot
  • Yellow: correct letter, wrong spot
  • Gray: letter not in the word

With the feedback, you will eliminate impossible combinations and get closer and closer to the target words.

Tip: Sometimes it's worth choosing a word that mainly gathers information rather than trying to solve one puzzle immediately.

Keep guessing and solve the puzzles simultaneously

You win only when:

  • Both hidden words have been correctly guessed.
  • All guesses are completed within the seven available attempts.

If either word remains unsolved after your seventh guess, the round ends in a loss.

Are you ready for word puzzles that are even tougher than Wordle? Try Dordle today and see if you can master both grids at once!
