PokéBonk is a survival game set in the universe of Pokémon. You will need to fight through waves of wild Pokémon, collect experience and select upgrades to be able to survive for as long as possible. Other than battling, the game has challenges to acquire new Pokémon, a research notebook and an upgrading system that uses Stardust. So every time you play, you don’t only survive; you progress more towards completing your collection.
Start by picking a Pokémon from the League and selecting a location to explore. The object of a battle is to survive the attacks of wild Pokémon hordes. As you level up, you can choose upgrades that boost your battle ability.
In a playthrough, you must complete specific challenges and catch the desired Pokémon to unlock new ones. Don’t only care about conquering opponents. As the quantity of wild Pokémon grows, mobility strategy and upgrade choices become important.
Step 1: Introduction to PokeBonk
Your main goal is to survive against waves of wild Pokémon. Gain experience, choose upgrades and level up to get stronger. The first tutorial is to get you used to the different sections of the menu.
Step 2: Play - Start a session
Choose a Pokémon from the League and a place to explore. Every new Pokémon is found via solving a puzzle, and then you have to catch it in battle to add it to your collection.
Step 3: Pokedex – Tracking Your Collection
The Pokédex records the Pokémon you’ve encountered. It also has a study Notebook that tracks your study progress and gives incentives such as avatars and profile frames.
Step 4: Lab - Permanent Upgrades
Spend your Stardust on permanent upgrades and new stuff. When you first enter the Lab, you will receive a tutorial on how to use it. Think about your investments; they will benefit you in future playthroughs.
Step 5: Tasks – Finishing the Mission
There are three daily tasks and three weekly tasks. Complete these tasks to earn Stardust and other rewards that will assist you during your gameplay sessions.
Step 6: Achievements – Claim Your Achievement Rewards
Achievements are long-term challenges. Finish them and you will be rewarded with Stardust, which you can use to get more upgrades. If you don’t know where to start, click over to the “Play” section, and give a survival round a shot.
Remember to collect Tasks and Achievements, since these are wonderful ways to earn gifts that may be used to gather Stardust. Watch your Pokédex to see what Pokémon you still need to catch and what challenges you still need to complete.
