Max Word is a fast paced game of finding words. You need to make valid words from the letters that are on the screen. New letters are added to the board and you can type words anytime using your keyboard or touchscreen. When you form a valid word, the tiles are cleared and you can go on to find new words. Your score is based on word length. The longer the word the higher the multiplier so the key to a high score is to find long words quickly. You can reuse the same letter in a word if you want to.

First, the game fills the board with letters until all 12 slots are filled. When the board is filled a countdown starts. The length of each round will vary depending on the game mode and the daily challenge. In this short time, combine letters to form words and score as many points as possible.
Scoring system based on word length:
Max Word also allows you to change the letter spacing and the length of a round in Practice mode. The letter interval can be set from 0.1 to 1 second, and the game duration from 1 to 10 minutes. The Letter Mix option changes up the ratio of vowels to consonants to make each session feel a little different.
Practice mode allows you to customize the speed at which letters appear and the total playtime. This is a great way to familiarize yourself with the scoring system and practice your word-finding skills.
Compete is a daily challenge open to all players. Everyone receives the same sequence of letters for the day and plays at the Advanced Level. The difficulty varies daily based on factors such as the number of vowels and consonants, the speed at which letters appear, and the match duration. The daily challenge operates on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
You can also select Compete Against Friends to compare results with your friends. Max Word allows you to create a “Friends Group” and send a link for others to join. A device can only belong to one friends group at a time.
Max Word is an exciting way to challenge your vocabulary, reflexes and ability to use every letter within a limited timeframe if you enjoy fast-paced word-finding challenges. If you prefer, you can switch over to untimed puzzles like Phrazle.
