Tagline is a word puzzle game for those who prefer reasoning to guessing. Each day, the game presents three new puzzles, but all use the same set of seven letters.
Your goal is to solve three puzzles using the same set of seven letters. When the game starts, you will read a text hinting at the correct answer. It could be sentences like "A problem that won't go away," "Lean back in desk chair, close eyes as if deep in thought." "The relative who pesters you with questions like, 'So when are you having kids?'"... And below is the phrase to guess, which has 11 letters.
You will be given about 4–5 letters beforehand, which will automatically appear when the game starts. Your task is to use the remaining letters to complete the correct answer.
A special feature is that next to the letters there will be stacks of boxes. These indicate how many times each letter must be used in the answer. For example, if the letter B has three boxes stacked on top of each other, it means the answer will contain three B's. This small detail helps you narrow down your reasoning and avoid trying too many random answers.
Each puzzle comes with three Hints. Each time a Hint is used, a hidden letter will be revealed. Hints. You can use all three hints for the same puzzle or distribute them across three different puzzles as you wish. The fewer hints you use, the higher the number of stars you receive after completing the challenge.
You can play by dragging the letters into the correct positions, typing directly on the keyboard if playing on a computer, or simply tapping the letters if using a phone.
