The Loop

The Loop is a puzzle game that combines reasoning, association, and general knowledge. Instead of finding answers using formulas, you arrange images in a circle so that each image has a logical connection to the two images next to it.

The circle of images is arranged and has just been checked in The Loop game

Game Idea

Each level presents a group of seemingly unrelated images. Your task is to drag and drop them to create a complete loop.
The interesting thing is that the connections aren't just based on shape. They can come from idioms, wordplay, nicknames, popular culture, or visual characteristics. For example, a rugby ball can be connected to a pig because of the word "pigskin," or the Big Dipper constellation can be related to a ladle because they have similar shapes.

How to Play The Loop

You can drag each image to the desired position and then press Check to verify.

  • The blue image is in the correct position.
  • The red image still needs rearranging.
  • The orange border indicates that the two images are correctly connected, but the pair is not yet in the final position within the circle.

Each level only has 5 Check attempts, so instead of trying randomly, you should observe carefully and deduce before confirming. If you encounter an image that is difficult to see, simply click to enlarge it.

Tips for faster solving

  • Start with the already locked image and gradually expand outwards instead of arranging randomly.
  • Don't just look at the object; think of related names, nicknames, or idioms.
  • Observe the shape, as many answers are based on visual similarities.
  • Utilize the orange borders to identify correctly connected pairs before adjusting the rest.

The Loop isn't just about logical reasoning. Many of its best connections come from visual similarities, common expressions, cultural references, and clever word associations, encouraging players to think beyond straightforward logic. Instead of simply searching for the "correct" answer, you're discovering the many ways ideas can relate to one another. And if you want to move on to word search puzzles, we have Word Search Universe Animals.
