Farflung is a geography trivia game where players can explore the world by answering questions about countries, languages, capitals, flags, and interesting geographical features. Instead of just choosing the most obvious answer, the game gives you a higher score for choosing less obvious countries.
There are 5 questions per Daily Expedition, same for all players that day, with a maximum possible score of 500 km. Or, you could pick "Unlimited" to play forever, or "Wander" to explore the map at your own speed without any rush.

Each question offers a clue, such as asking you to name a country where German is an official language. You have to find a suitable country and drop a pin on the map. There might be more than one correct answer, but the rarer the country you choose, the more points you get.
Tap the map to place your pin, adjust its position if necessary, and select "Drop Pin" to confirm. You only have one attempt per question. In "Classic" mode, you have 60 seconds to answer each question.
Points are awarded based on the rarity of your chosen answer: Common (+40 km), Uncommon (+55 km), Rare (+70 km), Elusive (+85 km), and Farflung (+100 km). Incorrect answers earn no points, so aim for choices that are both accurate and rare.
Classic is good for those who like to race against the clock, Unlimited is for multiple turns, and Wander is a more relaxed, exploratory experience. You can also turn off country names or borders for more of a challenge.
For geography buffs, Farflung is a great way to test your knowledge and see the world in brief bursts of fun quiz. Each question is an interesting strategic puzzle, where the score depends on the rarity of your answer.
