Turbo Type 3D

Turbo Type 3D is a 3D racing game that includes typing practice. Instead of steering with directional keys, players are required to type out the sentences displayed on the screen to make their car go forward. The car moves forward with each right key, but when a mistake is made in typing, the car stops moving until the right key is struck. This mechanic ensures speed and accuracy go hand-in-hand throughout every race.

How to Play Turbo Type 3D

Type to control the car

Each round begins with a 3-2-1 countdown. Players then drive their car along the track by typing the text shown at the bottom of the screen. The courses feature hills, bridges and ramps for a real racing feel.

Turbo Type 3D features four AI-controlled cars in standard races. Opponents adjust their speed based on the player's pace, allowing even novice typists to engage in a competitive race.

Honing Speed and Accuracy

It's not only your typing speed that determines the result. If the player makes an error, the car stops and the player has to type in the correct character to restart. In addition, each round shows WPM (words per minute) and accuracy to track your typing speed and error rate.

In practice mode the keys the player mistypes the most are the focus. If you want to target specific weaknesses rather than racing against opponents, this is the perfect choice.

Game Modes and Tracks

Turbo Type 3D offers seven game modes: Race, Daily Race, Rookie Cup, Pro Cup, Time Trial, Pro Race, and Practice. Each mode offers a unique gameplay experience, ranging from standard races to timed runs and multi-stage tournaments.

Explore 3D Tracks

You can select from six tracks: Green Hills, Canyon, Snow Peak, City, Volcano and Moon Base. Each has its own terrain and scenery. Moon Base is a little different because of the low gravity so vehicles can jump further off jump ramps. Furthermore, players can also set the sky to Day, Sunset, Nite or Rain in the Options menu.

Garage and Rewards

After each race, players earn coins to purchase new vehicles in the Garage. The game features 72 vehicles across four rarity tiers (Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary) and offers 12 paint colors. Beyond collecting vehicles, players can unlock 27 achievements and progress from level 1 to 50.

Turbo Type 3D is perfect for those who want to improve their typing skills by playing a simple racing game that works in your browser without the need for an account. If you like games that are based on words and typing challenges, then check out Minute Cryptic for more word gaming in the browser.
